Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the Project Information Management (PIM) strategy and execution plan
- Establish and enforce document control, data governance, and information security standards
- Oversee project databases, document management systems (DMS), and collaboration platforms
- Ensure accurate classification, storage, retrieval, and version control of project documents and data
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and IT teams to align information workflows
- Monitor compliance with contractual, regulatory, and company information requirements
- Lead and mentor information management and document control teams
- Prepare reports and dashboards on data quality, document status, and project performance metrics
- Support audits, handover documentation, and as-built information delivery to clients/operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Management, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in project information management, document control, or engineering data management (EPC or oil & gas projects preferred)
- Strong knowledge of DMS/EDMS platforms (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, OpenText, or similar)
- Understanding of project lifecycle, engineering workflows, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 19650, ISO 9001)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office, data reporting tools, and basic database or dashboarding systems
