Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of analytical instruments, especially Agilent Gas Chromatographs (GCs).
• Install, configure, and validate new instruments.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to laboratory staff.
• Supervise laboratory instrumentation projects, upgrades, and integrations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and documentation.
• Support instrument qualification, method setup, and performance verification.
• Work with engineering and operations teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Participate in international assignments when required.

Requirements:

• B.Sc/B.Eng. in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on instrumentation experience within a petroleum, chemical, or analytical laboratory environment.
• Proven expertise with Agilent Gas Chromatography systems, including hardware and software integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel when required.
• Good communication and training abilities.
• Strong experience with laboratory and process instrumentation.
• Ability to lead technical tasks and mentor junior staff.
