*Please submit a Portfolio of Instructional Design Experience to be considered.Cardinal Glass Industries has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented person with a passion for training systems and communications to join our team as our Senior Instructional Designer. Cardinal Glass Industries is leading the industry in the development of residential glass for windows and doors. We have over 9,000 employees located at 40+ manufacturing locations operating in 21 states. Specific Duties Design – develop engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and assessments, that align with established learning objectives.Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross functional teams to gather content, conduct needs analysis, and define learning outcomes.Apply instructional design models to design and develop impactful training solutions for diverse learning modalities. Lead design, configuration, troubleshoot issues, reporting and maintenance of LMS (Cornerstone) training system. Build training plan and execute coursework and other specific technical training to support an ongoing culture of learning and development.Assess company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives.Develop metrics and means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback to management and leadership.Build relationships with Subject Matter Experts to understand roadmaps and plan for content updates or new training offerings.Lead end to end instructional design projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and effective stakeholder communication.Conduct Comprehensive training needs assessments within the manufacturing sector to identify skills gaps, performance issues, and training requirements.Design and implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness and impact of training programs.Collect and analyze training data, learner feedback, and performance metrics to make data-driven recommendations for program enhancements and continuous improvement.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in instructional design and LMS administration to drive innovation and maintain cutting-edge training programs.Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
