Furniture Installer/ Carpenter

Responsibilities:

• Install custom furniture items, including wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, workstations, tables, shelves, and built-ins
• Read and interpret layout drawings and installation instructions
• Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and secure fixing of all installed items
• Collaborate with site supervisors and designers to meet design intent and finishing quality
• Conduct basic touch-ups or adjustments on-site (e.g., hinges, edge banding, joints)
• Load, offload, and transport furniture with care to avoid damage
• Maintain tools, report issues, and ensure tidy workspaces at job sites
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during installation activities
  

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in furniture or interior installation
• Proficiency in using hand tools, drills, levels, and assembly hardware
• Ability to read floor plans or installation diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills for on-site challenges
• Good physical strength and stamina
• Polite, respectful, and presentable in client environments
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed
• Background in carpentry, joinery, or furniture production (Preferred)
• Experience installing modular systems, office furniture, or kitchens (Preferred)
• Ability to coordinate with electricians, painters, or other subcontractors (Preferred)
• Familiarity with Lagos (or local) routes for deliveries and site visits (Preferred)
