Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Developing lesson plans that adhere to state and national standards, covering topics in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
- Conducting demonstrations, managing science labs, and ensuring students follow strict safety protocols during hands-on experiments.
- Creating tests, quizzes, and projects to grade student progress and provide feedback for improvement.
- Adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, including providing extra support for struggling students.
- Establishing a positive, safe, and organized learning environment. Using technology tools (simulations, data loggers) to enhance scientific understanding.
Requirements:
- Minimum N.C.E.
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
