Job summary
A family of three is seeking a child minder/tutor. They have one active child, aged 18 months. The mother is a work-from-home strategist and the father is a work-from-home technology worker. They are looking for an educator who can join them in raising children to be critical thinkers and explorers, curious and active, who Love God and love people. But they can’t do it alone. They need your help. There is a full-time housekeeper who is in charge of cooking/cleaning. The child is not yet in school and so will be at home fully.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist the child to prepare and eat his food based on his daily meal schedule for breakfast, snack and lunch.
- Pray together before each meal.
- Help the child wash his dishes after each meal
- Follow nap times and quiet times daily.
- Do one activity each day from the Slow and Steady, Get Me Ready for Kindergarten book.
- Do read aloud with the child each day.
- Play outside and go for walks daily in the estate in the morning and late afternoon.
- Guide the child to do his daily routine
- Engage in free play with the child daily.
- Organise a craft for the child/activity once a week.
- Change diapers regularly
- Do active play like football, bike riding, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, etc.
Requirements:
- A minimum of NCE required
- Previous experience working in early childhood education (primary school, day care, crèche, playschool, other childcare work)
- First Aid certification is a plus but not compulsory
- Proficient in reading with children
- Active and agile, willing to play, wrestle, chase, run, etc.
- A patient, gentle and joyful personality
- Relationship-focused, detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Yoruba speaking is a plus but not compulsory
- A Christian
