Nursery Teacher
Job summary
The Early Years Teacher will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children to learn and develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. They will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lessons that align with the school's curriculum.

Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment for young children
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and their families
- Assess and record the progress of each child and develop individual learning plans as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement the school's curriculum
- Communicate with parents and guardians about their child's progress and development
- Provide a variety of learning experiences that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Ensure that all children are treated with respect, dignity, and care
- Adhere to the school's policies and procedures related to health, safety, and child protection
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Teaching certification or license from a recognized authority
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an Early Years setting
- Knowledge of child development theory and best practices in Early Years education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
- Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability in response to children's needs and interests
- Patience, empathy, and a love of working with young children
Remuneration: NGN 70,000.00 - 120,000.00 per month
