Sales and Marketing Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for highly energized and result driven individuals who are self-starters, passionate and have a flair for sales, to push for the adoption of the Cooperative Bank’s Retail products to existing and potential customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition of new business within the assigned sales locations by aggressively approaching prospective customers with the aim of winning new business and cross selling to existing customers.

Sales Executive Job Description

  • Prospect and market all firm’s products to prospective clients.

  • Carry out market research and provide customer feedback to our business development team for the development of new products and enhancement of existing ones to suite the various market segments.

  • Deliver world class customer experience by ensuring quality service delivery for customers within the firm’s Service Level Agreements.

  • Achieve the set growth targets in terms of numbers and values through pro-actively identifying cross-selling opportunities from existing customers.

  • Participate in product campaigns to ensure product information is readily available to customers.

  • Sourcing for Deposits / Fixed Income subscribers for both the company and the cooperative

  • Sourcing for quality Assets; loan customers 

  • Creating and developing new and Innovative ways of getting liabilities to the company.

  • Liaise with the management to provide detailed forecasts and action plans for the growth of the business.

  • Collect and analyze information and data about the market trend to aid effective competition.

  • And any other task as sign my management & your line manager


Qualifications for the Sales Executive Job

  • Must have a minimum of OND holder, HND & B.Sc. holder.

  • 1 to 2years proven Commercial and Marketing background Experience in sales will be an added advantage.

  • Good and sound knowledge of credit analysis/administration, its application in the industry and its customers.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capacity with strong analytical and presentation skills.

  • Excellent planning and organization skills as well as excellent communication skills with the ability to set and meet stretched targets and strict deadline.

  • Result driven with a track record of demonstrable networking, selling and influencing skills as well as the ability to identify new sales opportunities.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long term and trusted relationships.

  • Proactive work style, highly reliable and accountable.
