Job Summary

The position holder will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing sales and marketing campaigns that promote the company and its products. S/he shall enhance the company’s brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic, acquiring leads and converting them to customers.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan and deliver integrated and creative digital campaigns and lead the execution of marketing activities for the titles from start to finish
  • Cultivate, coordinate and work closely with influencers, journalists, bloggers/vloggers and editors
  • Write and publish on social media and blog posts to grow followers across these platforms
  • Maintain marketing database and co-ordinate and publish regular email newsletters
  • Formulate strategies to build a lasting digital connection with customers
  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp etc.)
  • Launch optimised online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Identify and analyse target audiences to build appropriate marketing strategies and assets
  • Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns (including measuring experiments and conversion tests), and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) on a weekly basis
  • Ensure brand story is communicated through visuals and copy
  • Acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Manage sales and delivery activities

Requirements:

  • A degree in Communications, IT, Marketing or any related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Proven experience in handling social media and digital marketing activities
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Understand digital media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, WordPress, Flickr, Twitter, blogs, Instagram, etc. and is active on at least three of these platforms and have strong followers
  • Demonstrated success securing press coverage in traditional and digital media
  • Proven ability to evaluate new technology tools for digital marketing
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, HootSuite, and other digital marketing tools
  • Understands e-commerce platforms including WooCommerce and Shopify etc. update website
