DRASA is seeking a dynamic and motivated Advocacy Officer to join our team. The Advocacy Officer will play a crucial role in supporting our systems change work including telling the story of our collaborations and partnerships towards change. This position requires a talented communicator and relationship-builder.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Senior Partnerships Manager and the Communications team to support external stakeholder engagement, advocacy and communication activities.
- Provide communications support to partners, including developing communication materials and coordinating joint campaigns, ensuring brand consistency.
- Develop compelling content, including articles, blog posts, press releases, and digital content to showcase the initiatives, achievements, and impact of DRASA’s partnerships.
- Support partnerships to leverage advocacy opportunities with government and other implementing partners.
- Track and analyze the performance of engagement and advocacy activities and use data insights to refine strategies and optimize impact.
- Develop and disseminate advocacy strategy, networking materials, and advocacy materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Public Health or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role, preferably in the healthcare or non-profit sector.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear and compelling narratives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, content management systems, and email marketing software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of public health issues, at least two of the following: Infection Prevention and Control, Community Health, AMR and Health Security
