Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth.
- Identify client needs and recommend suitable financial products and services.
- Manage client accounts, ensuring proper documentation, timely updates, and compliance with internal policies.
- Conduct account reviews, track client transactions, and ensure proper reconciliation in line with accounting standards.
- Drive sales targets by actively sourcing new clients and promoting company financial products.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolve client issues promptly, and escalate complex concerns when necessary.
- Prepare financial reports, sales updates, and client engagement summaries for management review.
- Support credit assessment processes, including data collection, preliminary analysis, and follow-up with clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, finance, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
- HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years proven experience in a financial institution (finance, microfinance, banking, or related sector).
- Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to interpret financial statements.
- Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and client-relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of financial products, credit processes, and customer service practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
