We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Senior Chartered Accountant to oversee accounting, auditing, and financial control functions across the group. The ideal candidate will provide strong financial leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen internal controls, and supervise accounting activities across our various business divisions.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise accounting and financial reporting across group entities
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes
- Prepare, review, and consolidate financial statements
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee general ledger management, reconciliations, and closing activities
- Develop and enforce internal control policies across business units
- Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Provide financial insights to support management decisions
- Supervise, mentor, and guide accounting staff
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 5–10 years of relevant accounting/audit experience
- Strong experience in auditing and financial supervision
- Experience handling multi-entity/group accounting preferred
- Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Leadership and team management capability
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Professional Certifications (Required):
- Candidates must possess at least one of the following:
- ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria)
- ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
Preferred Certifications (Advantageous):
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
- ACA/FCCA
- Relevant tax or audit certifications

Location: Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 800,000 - 1.2 million net
