Finance and Accounts Manager
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will manage all accounting activities, financial planning, and reporting while ensuring strong financial control across the restaurant’s operations, including both front-of-house and kitchen activities. The Finance and Accounts Manager will be responsible for monitoring daily financial transactions, managing cash flow, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate recording of sales, expenses, payroll, and supplier payments. The role also involves tracking food and beverage costs, managing inventory-related financial records, and ensuring the restaurant operates within its budget. The successful candidate will work closely with management to analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve overall profitability. The role also includes ensuring compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and internal control procedures.

- Oversee all restaurant accounting and financial operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, profit and loss reports, and budgets.
- Monitor daily sales reconciliation and cash management.
- Track and manage food cost, beverage cost, and operational expenses.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and stock cost control.
- Supervise and guide the accounts and finance team.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and audits.
- Support management with financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and reporting systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in hospitality or restaurant management.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
- Experience with POS systems, accounting software, and inventory management.
- Good understanding of food and beverage cost analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
