The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all cost estimation, budgeting, valuation, and contract administration activities throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. The role ensures cost efficiency, compliance with project specifications, and effective financial control.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning to support project decisions.
- Evaluate contractor quotations and participate in tender evaluation.
- Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Perform on-site measurements and prepare valuations for progress payments.
- Track variations, prepare cost reports, and manage change orders.
- Advise on contractual claims and support contract negotiations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, cost records, and reports.
- Liaise with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project costs.
- Conduct post-contract evaluations and final accounts.
Requirements:
- Degree/HND in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in construction or civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent understanding of construction contracts and procurement methods.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with tight timelines.
