Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee daily/weekly production schedules to meet sales demand and delivery deadlines.
- Supervise, motivate, and develop the production team, including shift supervisors, line leaders, and operators.
- Monitor production processes, machine performance, output, and downtime; implement corrective actions to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Control production costs, manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods, and optimize resource use
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., lean manufacturing, process optimization).
- Prepare production reports, performance metrics, and budgets; analyze data to improve operations.
- Coordinate with other departments (procurement, maintenance, quality control, and sales) for smooth operations.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on the factory floor.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Minimum of an HND
