Responsibilities:
- Design and plan systems such as HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and elevators
- Install and oversee mechanical systems
- Testing and maintenance
- Collaborate and communicate with other project stakeholders, such as architects, structural engineers, etc.
- Problem-solver to detect and resolve issues that arise during the construction process
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, piping, plumbing, and building services.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software.
- Knowledge of local engineering codes, safety standards, and quality regulations.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- COREN registration or progress toward certification is an added advantage.
- Ability to work on-site and supervise technical staff as needed.
