Job summary
The Marketing Lead will lead all marketing strategy and execution for theatrical film releases (local and international acquisitions), Cinemas (all locations in Nigeria), and corporate brand positioning within the Nigerian market. The role is commercially driven and performance-based, focused on box office growth, admissions growth, and direct revenue generation for the Cinemas.

Responsibilities:
- Develop 360° Nigeria release campaign strategies for each title.
- Prepare revenue-aligned marketing plans tied directly to admissions and cinema income targets.
- Oversee key art, trailer positioning, social campaigns, outdoor placements, influencer partnerships, and grassroots activations.
- Manage premiere events and press tours.
- Align with exhibitors for screen allocation and showtime optimisation.
- Track admissions and revenue daily during opening week.
- Develop monthly cinema marketing calendars focused on revenue growth.
- Increase weekday footfall and concession sales.
- Implement loyalty, school, and corporate ticketing initiatives to drive recurring income.
- Lead paid advertising strategy across Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube.
- Deliver structured ROI reports post-release and optimise campaigns based on performance data.
- Build structured performance dashboards and ensure daily reporting during the opening week.
- Maintain strong trade relationships with cinema chains, PR agencies, media houses, and influencers.
- Build and manage a high-performing Nigerian marketing team focused on revenue delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of marketing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related field.
- At least 3 years in film, media, cinema, or entertainment marketing.
- Proven experience running theatrical campaigns.
- Strong digital performance marketing expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to drive measurable revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian consumer behaviour.
KPIs & Performance Metrics:
- Opening weekend performance vs forecast.
- Admissions growth (YOY).
- Total cinema revenue growth (ticket + concession).
- Marketing spend-to-GBO ratio.
- Cinema footfall increase percentage.
- Trailer view-to-ticket conversion rate.
- CPC and CPM efficiency.
- Campaign launch timeliness and budget discipline.

Remuneration: NGN 500,000 Net + Commission
