Job summary
We are seeking a Technician/Maintenance Officer to maintain and repair restaurant equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the smooth daily operations of the restaurant.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on restaurant equipment and facilities.
- Inspect kitchen equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and utilities.
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdown.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain maintenance logs and repair records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Coordinate with management when major repairs or replacements are required.
- Technical certification or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Maintenance (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in maintenance or technical support, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to issues.
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work flexible hours if maintenance emergencies arise.
