Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

• Start-up and operate assigned machinery according to established procedures and production standards. 
• Monitor machine performance, identifying and addressing any malfunctions or deviations from standard parameters.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain quality and optimize production output
• Load and unload raw materials onto the machine as required.
• Perform regular quality checks on produced goods, ensuring adherence to established quality standards.
• Identify and report any quality issues to supervisors.
• Implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct routine cleaning and lubrication of machinery to prevent malfunctions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery.
• Report any significant maintenance needs to the maintenance team.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while operating machinery.
• Immediately report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine downtime, production volume, and quality checks.
• Submit timely reports to supervisors regarding machine performance and production issues. 

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of mechanical principles and ability to operate industrial machinery.
• Ability to closely monitor machine functions and identify quality issues.
• Capability to troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety procedures.
• Prior experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
