Python Data Intelligence Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based data intelligence and analytics solutions leveraging statistical methods and machine learning models.
• Design and implement AI/ML workflows for predictive analytics, pattern recognition, and data-driven decision support.
• Integrate Python applications with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle ) as well as internal and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into production-grade code.
• Optimise data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for performance and reliability.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and documentation in alignment with engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and agile development cycles.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience using Python in data intelligence, statistical analysis, or machine learning contexts.
• Proven experience building, training, and deploying AI/ML models using libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
• Strong proficiency in integrating Python applications with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods, data modelling, and experimental design.
• Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and visualisation tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Must be able and willing to work full-time onsite; remote arrangements are not available.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with additional programming languages, particularly C#, is a strong plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment pipelines.
• Exposure to big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka) is beneficial.
