We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Data Intelligence Engineer to join our dynamic, on-site team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Python, statistics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) to design, develop, and deploy intelligent data solutions that drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data pipelines, connect to diverse APIs and databases, and develop robust, scalable analytics and AI-driven applications. This is a fully onsite position; remote work is not permitted.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python-based data intelligence and analytics solutions leveraging statistical methods and machine learning models.
- Design and implement AI/ML workflows for predictive analytics, pattern recognition, and data-driven decision support.
- Integrate Python applications with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle ) as well as internal and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into production-grade code.
- Optimise data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for performance and reliability.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and documentation in alignment with engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and agile development cycles.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience using Python in data intelligence, statistical analysis, or machine learning contexts.
- Proven experience building, training, and deploying AI/ML models using libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
- Strong proficiency in integrating Python applications with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, data modelling, and experimental design.
- Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and visualisation tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Must be able and willing to work full-time onsite; remote arrangements are not available.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with additional programming languages, particularly C#, is a strong plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment pipelines.
- Exposure to big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka) is beneficial.
