Job Summary
We are seeking diligent and results-driven Loan Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the lending cycle, and ensuring timely loan recovery through effective client relationship management.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate potential loan clients in line with the bank’s target market.
- Conduct credit appraisals and financial assessments to determine loan eligibility.
- Prepare and submit loan documentation for approval.
- Monitor and follow up on active loans to ensure prompt repayment and minimise delinquencies.
- Maintain accurate client records and prepare timely loan reports for management review.
- Build and manage relationships with customers, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Participate in loan recovery and portfolio management activities.
- Meet and exceed individual and bank targets for loan disbursement and repayment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in any field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Loan Officer, Credit Officer, or similar role in a microfinance or financial institution.
- Good understanding of lending procedures, credit analysis, and loan documentation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet performance targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic financial reporting tools.
