Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria for a Legal Officer. The Legal Officer at Pentagon Real Estate Investment Limited is responsible for supporting the legal team in ensuring all company operations and transactions comply with applicable laws and regulations. The role involves providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing real estate and corporate documents, and maintaining accurate legal records. The Legal Officer also supports due diligence, contract management, and regulatory compliance across all business activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); must be called to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian corporate, contract, and property law.
- Minimum of 2–3 years post-call experience, preferably in real estate, infrastructure, or corporate law.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents and commercial agreements.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain legal issues clearly.
- Membership in a professional legal or regulatory body (e.g., NBA, ICSAN) is an added advantage
