Project & Operations Manager (Music & Entertainment)

Responsibilities:

Operations & Execution:

• Oversee day-to-day operational execution across company activities and artist projects
• Translate high-level direction into structured timelines, workflows, and deliverables
• Ensure priorities remain clear and projects move forward efficiently
• Monitor execution across releases, campaigns, and content initiatives

Project & Release Coordination:

• Manage timelines for music releases, rollouts, and related content
• Coordinate with creatives, marketers, managers, vendors, and consultants
• Identify potential risks or delays early and support timely resolution
• Maintain organized schedules, documentation, and progress trackers

Team & Communication:

• Serve as a central coordination point between leadership and collaborators
• Facilitate internal check-ins and execution updates as needed
• Support clear communication, alignment, and follow-through across stakeholders

Reporting & Alignment:

• Report directly to the Founder/CEO
• Provide regular progress updates, execution summaries, and operational insights
• Support leadership decision-making through clear, structured information

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3–7 years experience in operations, project management, coordination, or related roles
• Experience working with teams, vendors, or creative professionals
• Experience in music or entertainment is an advantage, but operational strength, reliability, and sound judgment are the most important qualities.
• Based in Lagos, equivalent experience will be considered.
• Strong organizational and execution skills
• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously
• Clear, professional communication and dependable follow-through
• Comfort working in fast-paced, creative environments
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Ability to balance structure with flexibility
