IT Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to staff across all departments (hardware, software, network, and systems).
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers and IT equipment.
• Monitor and maintain network systems, internet connectivity and server performance.
• Ensure data security, system backups and adherence to IT policies.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems; diagnose and resolve hardware faults.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations.
• Support the rollout of new applications, systems upgrades and IT projects.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure timely maintenance or replacement.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers when necessary.
• Document technical issues and resolutions, and provide regular IT reports.

Requirements:

• OND/HND/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 2 - 4 years of proven experience in IT support or IT administration.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, network and operating systems.
• Experience with Windows OS, networking (LAN/WAN), routers, switches and basic server administration.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
• Professional certification is an added advantage.
