Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all IT-related activities and provide hands-on technical support to staff across the supermarket and fashion store.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware (POS systems, servers, printers, CCTV, biometric systems, etc.).
- Manage software and applications used in inventory management, sales, CRM, and payroll.
- Ensure data security, perform regular system backups, and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor and maintain the store’s network infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for IT support, procurement, and maintenance contracts.
- Support the integration of e-commerce platforms and ensure seamless digital and physical store connectivity.
- Train and support staff in IT systems and best practices.
- Maintain documentation of systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on IT experience in a mall, retail chain, or similar commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of retail POS systems, network administration, and retail management software.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, biometric access control, and retail hardware.
- Experience managing IT for multiple departments or store units is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues promptly in a live retail environment.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.
