IT and Operations Officer

Responsibilities:

IT:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, and other IT systems.
• Provide technical support and training to staff regarding system usage, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Monitor IT systems and ensure security protocols are followed, including data backups and cybersecurity measures.
• Liaise with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and upgrades of IT assets.
• Manage system access, email accounts, and cloud services.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, licensing requirements, and data protection regulations.

Operations:

• Support daily business operations.
• Assist in process improvement and standard operating procedures development.
• Monitor inventory, procurement processes, and vendor coordination.
• Help manage internal communications and scheduling of operational activities.
• Prepare regular reports on IT performance and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with departments to coordinate project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Requirements:

• HND/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar dual-role position.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security.
• Experience with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
• Familiarity with project management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
