Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversees stock levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely restocking, and efficient inventory turnover.
- Stock Monitoring & Reconciliation: Tracks incoming and outgoing inventory, conducts regular stock counts, and reconciles physical stock with digital records to prevent discrepancies.
- Production Tracking: Coordinates with production teams to monitor the status of orders, track quantities, and ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Quality Assurance: Implements and enforces quality standards across all products, inspecting materials and finished items to ensure they meet brand specifications.
- Defect Management: Identifies, documents, and manages defective items, coordinating repairs or replacements while minimizing losses.
- Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Collaborates with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and resolves any supply or quality-related issues.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintains accurate records of inventory movements, quality checks, and performance reports to support decision-making and forecasting.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in inventory control or quality assurance, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and fashion production standards.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software or spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for product quality and finish.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
