Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately.
- Receive, shelve, rotate, and routinely count medications and supplies to ensure proper inventory control and expiry management.
- Maintain accurate daily sales records and support basic operational expense tracking with appropriate approvals.
- Respond to customer enquiries and telephone calls, providing general information or directing calls as needed.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment, shelves, and work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with operational standards.
Requirements:
- Certification or degree in a science-related field.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills,
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy or pharmaceutical setting is an advantage.
