Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive, test, and study urine, blood, or other samples from patients for analysis
- Perform tests in chemical pathology, hematology, parasitology and medical microbiology
- To perform cross-matching and compatibility tests of blood for blood transfusion and serological tests
- Prepare standard volumetric solutions or reagents to be combined with specimens
- Manage, operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Evaluate test results and prepare reports
- Maintain laboratory quality assurance and safety standards
- Guide and supervise junior staff and technicians
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of BSC
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
