Radiologist

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound examinations according to physician requests.
• Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it functions properly and reporting any faults or maintenance needs.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images by following established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures and results in line with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.
• Adhere to infection prevention, radiation protection, and health and safety regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality and professional ethics.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a B.Sc in Radiography and a current practicing license.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in General Radiography, MRI, CT, and ultrasound will be an added advantage.
• Assist the medical team in patients’ diagnosis and treatment
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patients’ encounters.
