Medical Lab Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, and other samples) for diagnostic testing.
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests using standard laboratory procedures and equipment.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Record, interpret, and report laboratory findings accurately while maintaining proper documentation.
• Follow quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.
• Adhere to infection prevention, biosafety, and laboratory safety protocols while handling specimens and hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals by providing timely and accurate laboratory results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical role.
• Proficient in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and data analysis.
