The Opportunity

This role will provide strategic and technical leadership/support to all team members, and project partners in the delivery of all health-related projects and project components at Plan International. The Health Advisor is expected to provide strategic leadership in Health programmes and will be responsible for the quality and effectiveness of Plan International Nigeria’s Health, Nutrition projects in development and emergency response in the Country Programme in Nigeria. The Health Advisor strengthens the country office’s overall capacity to be prepared for and respond to health programmes in accordance with Plan’s principles and practices.

In addition, the role will support the development, implementation and periodic review of all health components of the project, including engagement with broad range of project stakeholders.

About You

We are looking to hire a candidate who possess a University education in medicine or health related course, having an advanced degree such as MPH, MSc in relevant health field will be an added advantage.

With at least 4-6 years of experience providing technical support to health projects in Nigeria. This candidate should also have an experience in the development of Proposals and this must be clearly demonstrated.
