Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and general ledger.
- Develop and maintain effective financial systems, policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting and forecasting to ensure financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits and statutory reporting.
- Supervise and mentor members of the accounting team to enhance productivity and performance.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities and financial institutions as required.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to management.
- Support decision making processes by evaluating financial data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- ICAN/ACCA
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance role, with at least 3 years in managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, budgeting and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
