Hairstylist

Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs, preferences, and style goals.
• Perform haircuts, coloring, blow-drying, and styling services for a variety of hair types and textures.
• Recommend and perform hair treatments such as deep conditioning, relaxing, and hair strengthening treatments.
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, maintenance, and products to use at home.
• Stay updated with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative styles.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and products are sanitized and well-maintained.
• Upsell salon products and treatments to enhance the client experience and boost sales.
• Work closely with other salon staff to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all clients.
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service and consistent quality of work.
• Follow salon policies and health/safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Hairstylist with a portfolio of previous work (photos of styles done).
• Expertise in hair cutting, coloring, and styling for various hair types.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively with clients to deliver their desired look.
• Knowledge of hair care products, tools, and current trends.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in styling and treatment recommendations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple appointments during busy periods.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• A valid hairstylist certification or license is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
