Responsibilities:
- Construct and ventilate lace-front wigs and hairpieces by hand
- Create natural-looking hairlines and partings
- Customize wigs to match character requirements (color, density, texture)
- Apply, secure, and remove wigs safely on performers
- Maintain and repair wigs between performances or shoots
- Collaborate with hair stylists, makeup artists, costume designers, and directors
- Ensure continuity for film and TV productions
Requirements:
- Knowledge of wig construction and lace-front techniques
- Hand-tying (ventilating) skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of different hair types and textures
- Basic knowledge of adhesives and skin-safe application methods
- Patience and steady hand coordination
- Ability to work under tight production deadlines
