Responsibilities:
Field Data Collection:
- Collect topographic, boundary, and construction survey data.
- Measure distances, angles, elevations, and coordinates using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and data collectors.
- Record field observations accurately and systematically.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, levels, drones).
- Calibrate and check instruments before and after fieldwork.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Data Management:
- Download, organize, and verify collected data.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Coordinate with office staff for data processing and mapping.
Site Preparation & Support :
- Set up survey control points and markers.
- Assist surveyors and engineers in layout and staking activities.
- Follow site plans and technical drawings.
Safety & Compliance:
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations.
- Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and legal requirements.
Communication & Reporting:
- Communicate with survey team members and project supervisors.
- Report discrepancies or site issues.
- Maintain daily field logs and reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
