Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare detailed layouts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.
• Perform equipment sizing, heat load calculations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with electrical and civil departments for integrated MEP system design.
• Supervise on-site mechanical installations, testing, and commissioning.
• Attend project and site meetings; provide technical solutions and resolve engineering issues.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Ensure all mechanical works adhere to industry codes, local regulations, and international best practices.
• Support procurement planning by preparing bills of quantities and technical specifications.
• Compile project documentation, including method statements, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

• BSc./B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in MEP project execution or consultancy.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and other relevant mechanical design tools.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian and international MEP codes and standards.
• Membership of NSE, COREN, or other relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
