We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our client’s project team in Abuja. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in power systems, PV design, and project engineering within Nigeria’s power and energy sector.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- PV System Design: Proficient in PVsyst, HOMER, etc.; able to complete full design cycles (irradiance analysis, system simulation, generation estimates).
- Equipment Selection: Able to select inverters, batteries, and other components based on load characteristics.
- Pre-Project Services: Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, BOQ preparation, and develop technical proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (professional certifications preferred).
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Nigeria’s power sector.
- Strong understanding of local T&D standards, hybrid/off-grid systems, and distribution upgrades.
- International Bidding: Prior experience with AfDB/World Bank tendering is an advantage.
- HSE Competence: Sound knowledge of safety practices, risk assessment, and safety documentation.
- Transmission & Distribution: Strong background in T&D systems, transformer sizing, and grid design.
- The candidate must be between the ages of 30 – 45 years
- Must be based in Abuja with flexibility to travel.
- Strong technical documentation and problem-solving skills.
