Job Description/Requirements

- Verify data accuracy and completeness by reviewing, editing, and cross-referencing data.
- Conduct data verification and validation checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in data entries.
- Maintain and update databases with new or revised information.
- Organize and categorize data for easy retrieval and reporting.
- Perform quality control checks to identify errors, duplicates, or missing information in datasets.
- Implement data cleansing and correction procedures as needed.
- Adhere to data security and confidentiality policies to protect sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Keep detailed records of data entry activities, including the date, source, and purpose of data.
- Create and maintain documentation related to data entry processes.
- Generate regular reports summarizing data entry activities and accuracy levels.
- Provide data reports to relevant departments or supervisors as required.
- Retrieve data from databases or files as requested by authorized personnel.
- Assist colleagues in locating and accessing specific data.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes and improve efficiency.
- Recommend tools or methods to optimize data management.
- Provide training and support to other staff members or data entry team members on data entry procedures and best practices.
- Assist in resolving data-related queries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any related field.
- Proven experience in data entry or a related field.
- Proficiency in data entry software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, database software).
- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
