Data and Research Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to gather relevant data from various sources, including internal databases, industry reports, and external sources.
• Clean, organize, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze data using statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support for business initiatives.
• Develop and maintain data management processes and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and research methodologies.

Requirements:

• HND/Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, research, or a related field.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as R, Python, or SAS.
• Experience working with databases and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in project management and handling multiple priorities is a plus.
