Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monthly analysis of sales and COGS by PVM comparative to PY and Budget.
- Compliance on accounting closure date and account reporting timelines & compute monthly production absorption journals.
- Computation of Landing cost on imported products.
- Assist in price variance preparation by reconciling on quarterly basis, entries in cost variance report due to lag in posting of imported and locally purchased items to avoid double counting of variance.
Requirements:
- The incumbent must possess a minimum of HND/B.Sc in Accountancy or related field, be partly ICAN qualified.
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in Factory Accounting / Costing and Budgets.
- Candidates must be computer literate with working knowledge of relevant ERP, self-disciplined, methodical and thorough in approach.
