Job Summary

The CSO will be responsible for managing the client service operations in an Insurance Brokers firm. Your key responsibilities include overseeing transactions and claims management, tracking commission payments, preparing policy documentation, managing policy renewals, and maintaining insurance registers.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage transactions and claims with insurance companies.
  • Track commission payments from insurance companies.
  • Prepare broking, placing, and renewal slips with premium computation for different classes of insurance.
  • Send renewal notices to clients and ensure that policies are renewed.
  • Prepare pre and post-renewal insurance registers of various clients.
  • Follow up with customers on premium due and process premium remittance to insurance companies.
  • Request premium quotes and prices from insurance companies.
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents.
  • Maintain company calendar and schedule appointments.
  • Assist in the collating and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly regulatory reports.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage databases and input data and records.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results. 


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an industry-related field.
  • Previous work experience as a CSO or similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Client Service Officer.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • In-depth understanding of the insurance industry.
  • Experience in client service management and a proven track record of improving client satisfaction and retention are essential.
