Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

Project Planning: 

• Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.
•  Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations. 
• Site reports on a weekly basis
• Regular Site meetings

Design and Drafting: 

• Create detailed designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar software. 
• Interpretation of drawings
• Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and codes. 

Structural Analysis: 

• Perform structural analysis and calculations. 
• Select appropriate construction materials and methods. 

Permitting and Compliance: 

• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities. Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations. 

Construction Oversight: 

• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications. 
• Resolve on-site design issues and provide technical support to construction teams.

Quality Control: 

• Conduct quality assurance checks on construction materials and workmanship. 
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures. 
• Quality Management and Control
• Site supervision

Budget Management: 

• Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budget constraints. 
• Identify and address cost-saving opportunities. 

Client Communication: 

• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations. 
• Provide regular project updates and address client concerns. 

Team Collaboration: 

• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineering professionals. 
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and support staff. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Candidate must have at least 2-3 years of work experience as a Civil Engineer.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 200,000
