Civil Construction Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Project planning and management: Review project plans, manage schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion. 
• Budget control:  Manage project costs, calculate budgets, and ensure projects stay within financial limits. 
• Safety and compliance: Enforce safety regulations on-site and ensure the project complies with all legal requirements. 
• Quality assurance: Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and perform material and process testing to ensure compliance with standards. 
• Site supervision: Oversee construction activities and personnel, providing technical guidance and problem-solving. 
• Coordination: Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. 
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed construction logs and project reports. 
• Technical duties: Use CAD software for designs and assist in site investigations and feasibility studies. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Professional license or certification (depending on location).
• Experience in a similar role of at least 2-3 years.
• Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent time management and project management skills.
• Good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. 
• Any other work that may be assigned to him by the MD
• Produce daily and weekly reports.
• Ability to read Structural, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical and other Engineering drawings.
• We need someone who is honest and dedicated, ready to grow professionally.
• Ability to use MS software like Excel, Word. 

Location: Port Harcourt and its environs

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 Monthly.

Note: Pension, insurance, and other benefits can take it up to N250,000. This is subject to review after 6 months based on performance.
