Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of chemical and physical laboratory tests and analyses on environmental samples, including water, soil, and air.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
Prepare and analyze samples using various techniques, such as spectrophotometry, chromatography, and wet chemistry.
Ensure that all laboratory procedures are conducted in compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Document and report laboratory test results accurately and comprehensively.
Collaborate with the project team to support data interpretation and reporting.
Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods.
Keep up to date with relevant industry regulations, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience working as a Laboratory Analyst, preferably in an environmental or related field.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment, techniques, and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory work.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in laboratory software and data analysis tools.
