Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across Jivagate’s service and product offerings
  • Proactively generate leads through outbound outreach, referrals, partnerships, and networking
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand client business challenges, needs, budgets, and timelines
  • Position and sell Jivagate’s services and products as integrated business solutions
  • Lead sales conversations, presentations, and follow-ups with decision-makers
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and solution scopes using approved templates
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to deal closure
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and activity reports using CRM tools
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, upselling, and long-term engagements
  • Collaborate internally to refine offerings, pricing, and go-to-market approach based on market feedback


Requirements:

  • 3 to 6 years experience in business development or sales for professional services
  • Proven track record selling intangible or consulting-based offerings
  • Experience engaging senior decision-makers
  • Strong proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Structured, process-driven approach to sales
  • Ability to discuss pricing, value, and ROI confidently
  • A disciplined, process-driven sales professional
  • Comfortable engaging and following up with decision-makers
  • Consultative mindset with strong questioning skills
  • Confident in communicating value and pricing
  • Takes ownership of revenue targets and outcomes
  • Detail-oriented in proposals, follow-ups, and pipeline management
  • Resilient, consistent, and professional in long sales cycles
  • Learns quickly and adapts across services and products

  • Candidates without service-based sales experience
  • Reliance on inbound leads only
  • Backgrounds limited to retail or FMCG sales
