Architect

Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections, using CAD software.
• Develop 3D models and visualizations to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Produce sketches and renderings to explore design ideas and concepts.
• Utilize carpentry expertise to develop detailed cutting lists for wood production and construction.
• Manage site and civil work projects, including coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to integrate architectural design with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations related to architectural design and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Experience working with an interior design company.
• 1-3 years of experience in architectural design and construction.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Rhino, or similar).
• Strong drawing and sketching skills, with the ability to create precise and detailed architectural drawings.
• Experience in carpentry work and developing cutting lists for wood production.
• Proven track record in site and civil project management, with a focus on construction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Resides in or near the Lekki area.
