This role is primarily focused on teaching AI concepts to students and members, ensuring that every session is engaging, accessible, and aligned with the Institute's curriculum.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced AI literacy sessions to the AI-4AI community as part of the Institute’s membership programme.
- Design and prepare a curriculum for advanced AI literacy tailored to the needs of the AI-4AI community.
- Monitor and track knowledge growth within the community based on delivered topics and learning outcomes.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI trends, tools, and developments, demonstrating a strong capacity for continuous learning.
- Maintain a solid grounding in advanced AI literacy concepts and their practical applications.
- Support the delivery of AI literacy sessions to secondary school students during outreach visits, in alignment with the Institute’s approved curriculum.
- Facilitate clear, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experiences for diverse student audiences.
- Support the School Outreach Coordinator in the planning and execution of outreach activities.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, session guides, and handouts ahead of outreach engagements.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and session notes, and provide timely updates to the School Outreach Coordinator after each engagement.
- Incorporate participant feedback to continuously improve the quality, relevance, and delivery of AI literacy sessions.
- Contribute actively to the achievement of the Institute’s mission and vision.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, a STEM field, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, or training facilitation.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and tools relevant to beginner and intermediate audiences.
- Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from a coordinator.

Location: Remote (Lagos)
Remuneration: NGN 500,000 Naira net per month pro rata
Work Schedule: Part-time role at 0.4 FT (2 days a week, including Saturdays)
