Job Summary

Taprap Nigeria Limited seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accurate reporting, and support the company’s operational and strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate will maintain proper books of accounts, manage invoicing, handle reconciliations, and ensure compliance

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation.
  • Prepare payroll and statutory deductions (PAYE, Pension, VAT, WHT).
  • Manage billing for customers and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Support budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
  • Prepare financial reports for management decision-making.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books).
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
