Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s short- and long-term objectives.
• Oversee all accounting, treasury, financial planning, and analysis activities across all business units.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting, including management and statutory reports.
• Monitor key financial metrics and guide executive decision-making through financial insights and forecasting.
• Lead the development and execution of budgets, ensuring fiscal discipline and resource optimization.
• Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation, and working capital optimization.
• Supervise reconciliation and chargeback functions to ensure transaction integrity and revenue assurance.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, audit, and tax requirements in coordination with relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with the CEO and department heads to align financial plans with organizational goals.
• Build and manage relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and external partners.
• Lead the Finance team to maintain accuracy, accountability, and high professional standards.

Requirements;

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or MSc Finance preferred).
• Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Proven experience in financial strategy development, budget management, and financial governance.
• Experience within fintech or a financial services environment is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership and financial management skills.
• Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Strong grasp of fintech financial operations, including settlement, reconciliation, and transaction management.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience in managing investor relations and financial risk management.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
